Frederick Anderson aka ' Fast Freddy '
Dance...Dance...Dance
Frederick Anderson is hot, with a flair for over the top Fashion & Style, known as " Fast Freddy" for his quick wardrobe change at Fashion Show engagements.
Dancing his way in the motor city first with Motown Records with a dance group called 'The Professionals' then on 'The Robin Seymour Show' and on to a popular television dance show ' The Scene ' 1982-1988 he quickly became one the most popular dancers featured. He became famous for a dance step that involved moving his shoulders up & down rapidly and doing "a shoulder trick" with his jacket. Everyone who watched the show knew Fast Freddy. He later became a show coordinator on the show's daily broadcast.
As he rose to local celebrity personality status he went on to pursue and cultivate him self as DJ, Model, Photographer, Dance Instructor and Actor. With over three decades in the business .
Fast Freddy is definitely in the top 10 of one of the most well known people in Detroit. He has been a Fashion Model for three decades.
In 2000 Fast Freddy's over the top Fashion Style landed him a six page spread in the September issue of one of the most prestige's men's fashion magazine , GQ Magazine which has featured some of the worlds most highly profiled Entertainers and Fashion Gurus. The article titled
' The Head to Toe Man' talked about his peacock fashion style of standing out and wearing any color of the rainbow, and never wears any outfit that doesn't match from head to toe.
Freddy's lives by rules and rituals as strict as monk's, Fast Freddy never wears the same thing twice. His Best dressed Trophy's are a true testament to his persona of Fashion.
He has been featured in many Media profiles in print as well as News Spots, Commercials, dvds, & music cd simply titled ' 'Freddy"s Rock'
As a current Hustle & Ballroom Dance Instructor he has taught students, senior citizens, handicap, family reunions, health centers, professional studios, recreation centers & nightclubs.
He has dance steps that anyone can handle, his classes for seniors and wheelchair bound people focus on upper body movement. With rave reviews from anyone who have ever taken dance instruction from him he continues to provide fun ,exercise and continuous movement that people enjoy.
His requested travels for Modeling and Dance Instructor span the globe. He is much in demand.
Freddy is curently teaching classes at many centers as well as special events, fundraisers, reunions.
